W3 Techs updates WordPress usage statistics each month. I’ve been capturing screenshots for several years. Here is a two year comparison showing changes in marketshare for WordPress and Elementor. If we go back two years to August 5th, 2022, WordPress was used by 43% of sites, and Elementor was used on 17.8% of those sites. Today, WordPress is used by 43.4% of all websites, and 25.4% of all those WordPress websites are using Elementor.

Wow, in two years WordPress usage increased by 0.4% while Elementor use increased by 7.6%.
The community often views these statistics as a kind of proxy for confirming that WordPress is on the right track. If we are going to use the statistics as an indicator that WordPress is on the right track, then to be consistent, we need to accept that the continued increase in Elementor’s marketshare indicates that WordPress users are increasingly choosing to use a page builder. By the way, sites built using Elementor or other page builders are WordPress websites.
