In this video I’m taking a look at a new feature of ACPT. ACPT is a newish plugin, maybe about two years old, for creating custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields to add dynamic data features to your website. And the new feature that’s been released is that the blocks that come with ACPT are supposed to work now in the Site Editor, which means you can use the Site Editor for creating single and archived templates for your Custom Post Types. So that’s what I want to try out.

Some Information About ACPT

There is a light version of ACPT, but it’s pretty limited in the features. The pro version, though, has a good number of features. The create Custom Post Types, custom fields, and taxonomies, those are kind of the bread and butter core features of a dynamic data custom fields plugin. There are 40 types of fields supported. There’s also the ability to create option pages. These are some of the advanced features, repeater fields, flexible field, conditional rendering, relationship field, PHP functions, custom APIs, form builder, visual builder, import and export of data, REST API, fields integration.

Also of interest are the integrations. The developer has built integrations for Breakdance, Brics, Divi, Elementor, Gutenberg, and that’s what we’ll be looking at. Oxygen, RankMath, BlueCommerce, WP All Import/Export, WP Graph, QL, and Zion Builder.
If you look at the pricing, there’s annual and lifetime pricing on the annual $29 for one site, $49 for five, and $99 for unlimited sites. On the lifetime side, we have one site for $99, five sites for $149, and unlimited sites for $199.
Concluding Comments
I’m pretty happy that the ACPT blocks worked the first time I tried them. The developer of ACPT has been continually enhancing the plugin and adding features. I think it’s very strategic and smart of him to be adding support for various popular builders and not waiting for those builders to add support for ACPT. We see how they work in the Gutenberg editor. It appeared that there were different block options available depending on the field we chose.
From the feedback I’ve heard from users, ACPT is pretty popular with Bricks. And I believe that all of the features of ACPT, as far as I know, are also supported with Bricks. I haven’t really heard much feedback from users on using it with other builders.
As we saw when we were looking at the ACPT website, the pricing for lifetime is still reasonable and attractive. So I’m pretty happy with the way that ACPT is going and I think the developer is doing a good job. I hope you liked the video.
