acpt second look the integration with bricks

This is my second look at ACPT. In the first video I concluded that ACPT worked well for creating Custom Post Types, custom taxonomies, and custom fields, but that more was needed for displaying those on the front-end. Since the first look, ACPT has added Divi and now Bricks Builder integrations. In this video I look at the ACPT integration with the Bricks Builder and use Bricks to create the single and archive templates for a Custom Post Type.

Conclusions

ACPT has a good integration with the Bricks Builder. Creating the Custom Post Type, custom taxonomy, and custom fields was very fast and easy. Bricks recognized the Custom Post Type I created and showed the custom fields in the list of dynamic data options. It was fully functional.

  • ACPT is new, but is progressing quickly.
  • The developer is responsive and listening to user feedback.
  • Divi and Bricks have integrations released. These are strategic moves.
  • If the developer continues improvements then ACPT could stand as an option beside ACF, Meta Box, Toolset, and JetEngine.
